Intervention is about helping resolve the issue, rather than simply coming into your home, collecting evidence, and leaving you with the problem. I do use my Detective skills to first rule out mundane causes, as well as to identify what's really going through a series of diagnostic methods that are shamanic. This will necessarily include assessment of physical and mental health as well as environmental causes because we have to rule these out before taking the leap of declaring something "paranormal". It is not meant to offend, but is necessary to ensure integrity, correct diagnosis, and valid and appropriate intervention.
